In 2015, we were approached by Carey PLC to construct 22 helical concrete staircases on a project in the exclusive St Johns Wood in London.
It was basically a new road, set back off the main road (Hall road).
It comprised of 5 town houses and 1 huge Villa.
We constructed 4 flights in each town house and 2 in the villa.
Each town house is valued at over £10, 000,000.
The stairs were finished with solid wood and carpet runners.
The balustrades were powder coated, cast steel spindles topped off
with American ash hand-rails.
We came highly recommended and Senior contracts manager, Marc Daly came to view numerous "live" projects we were currently working on. He satisfied himself that we were the company he required, to carry out the works.
Their only concern was could we construct the stairs to the tight, site program.
We constructed all the stairs to program, this despite numerous delays onsite.
We have since completed further works for Carey's sister company, Scudder, on a project in Palace street, London. We constructed 17, very bespoke curved staircases and some more traditional straight, concrete steps.
