Lots of people see concrete as being grey and cold.
This is only when you look large buildings/constructions/bridges.
A concrete staircase is a thing of beauty.
It can be left in its "raw" state, no finishes applied, or polished.
We have completed hundreds of "finished" stairs, they look amazing.
If polished, this will happen after the stairs have been cast
and the formwork (wood) removed.
We will leave the concrete stairs to enable the polishing to be completed easily by a polishing company.
There are a couple of options with the polishing.
1.A light polish that takes around 2mm off the
surface. This will leave a light, polished effect.
2. A slightly deeper polish that exposes the
aggregate, but provides more of a sheen.

POLISHED CONCRETE STAIRS
This stairs was constructed around a huge chimney breast
on a property in Pangbourne.
The stairs wrapped the chimney with a connection landing
at the head of the stairs. The polishing was completed
after the stairs were cast.
Glass balustrades were used on the sides.
There are more examples below.
